The photos
on this page are of the City of Lynnwood's Festival Float for 1999! The
float is the same design from the 1998 parade year and will remain the
same for the 1999 festival year. Below is the 1999 Parade Schedule!!
The Parade Float is owned and operated by the City of Lynnwood with
a float crew of city volunteers. However, the city has decided that the
float will have a Trolley theme and have our festivals name on the front
and back of the float.
The float will have three riders. These riders are the City of Lynnwood's
Youth Ambassadors, who were selected for their community involvement and
scholastic achievement. Each Youth Ambassadors will receive a $1,000 scholarship
awarded by the city and the honor of riding the Festival Float for the
1999 calendar year.
Lynnwood Trolley Days Festival wishes to thank the Mayor and the
City Council for approving funds to construct and maintain the float, which
in turn enables Trolley Days to promote our festival throughout the summer. |
