Following
the Children's Parade will be the Lynnwood Trolley Days Grand Parade. This
promises to be a terrific parade with Floats from around Western Washington
and Canada, Local Marching Bands, Clowns, Drill & Dance Teams, Classic
Cars and more. |

Louise
Marshall has been a Lynnwood resident for many years. She was instrumental
in getting the Interurban Trail completed through Lynnwood while she was
Chairwoman for the Lynnwood Parks and Recreation Commission.
In 1997, Louise received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the
Pacific Crest Trail Association for her dedicated work on preserving parks
and trails throughout our region.
She is an accomplished author of several books on Hiking and Trails
in Western Washington, co-founder of the American Hiking Society and the
Washington Trails Association and the first woman to be elected to the
REI board of directors (a post she held for 18 years).
Because of Louise Marshall's dedication to the quality of outdoor
life for Lynnwood Citizens, the Board of Directors of the Lynnwood Trolley
Days Festival wishes to recognize her contribution by selecting Louise
to be the Grand Marshall for the 1999 Grand Parade! |

The parade
will begin at 11:00 a.m. sharp. To view the Grand Parade Route,

insurance with a million dollar for each occurrence and the Lynnwood Trolley
